Hi,

I am using this SimpleLink Connection App on an iPhone with a LP-EM-CC2340R5 running a Data Stream project.

The received data under notification always in ASCII format, no matter if I choose Hex, Dec or UTF-8; but this selection do have effect on the data Write out.

So that I can send out from my iPhone Hex, Dec and UTF-8 data, but can only receive data in ASCII format.

Is this a purposely made feature in this App or a bug?

If I want to receive some data in Hex or UTF-8, must I modify the App?
