CC2340R5: About current consumption of some function

Hello,

 

My customer is asking about current consumption of some function on CC2340R5.

They need these parameters to design overall current consumption.

 

1)UART current consumption

@Active

2)I2C current consumption

@Active

3)TIMER current consumption

@Active

4)BLE Advertise current consumption

@Active, @Idle

 

Do you have some data for these?

    Hello Tao_2199,

    1, 2, and 3 are shown in Section 8.9 (Power Consumption - Power Modes, Peripheral Current Consumption) of the Datasheet.  As seen in Section 9.11 (Power Management), these peripherals are available in Active or Idle modes thus you will need to add the "Core Current Consumption" from Section 8.9 accordingly for the total current consumption.

    4: the same as above applies concerning Section 8.9 for the RF peripheral and Active/Idle MCU operation, additionally see section 8.10 (Power Consumption - Radio Modes) for TX/RX current parameters.
