LP-EM-CC2340R5: Unable to flash a image to launch board using XDS110ET

When i try to load a compiled image to launch board using XDS110ET, its giving me an error.

Error initializing emulator:
(Error -260 @ 0x0)
An attempt to connect to the XDS110 failed.
The cause may be one or more of: no XDS110 is connected, invalid
firmware update, invalid XDS110 serial number, or faulty USB
cable. The firmware and serial number may be updated using the
xdsdfu utility found in the .../ccs_base/common/uscif/xds110
directory of your installation. View the XDS110SupportReadMe.pdf
file there for instructions.

Thanks for the reply.

This is the board connection im using. As you suggested i tried to update firmware & serial number to XDS110 through command line, but there I'm getting this error

so i tried to upload firmware for XDS110 by removing evaluation(cc2340R5) board.

then im getting response for this xdsdfu -e

So my assumption is evaluation board is not responding. please help me to resolve this.

Unless I am mistaken, it appears that you have a Rev A LaunchPad connected (discontinued May 2023). This has pre-production CC2340R5 devices populated which are no longer supported by the released SDK and tools. This hardware should be replaced in order to continue.

You can check the physical CC2340 device markings to confirm whether this is pre-production silicon, and if a XDS110 connection were possible then you would also be able to check the device revision with Uniflash. Ultimately you should get in contact with your provider from TI for a replacement. You can reference this thread during your communication with them.
