CC2340R5-Q1: Stand by power policy in CC2340r5 low power SDK sample application , does not actually put the MCU in standby mode

Part Number: CC2340R5-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG, CC2340R5

Hi,

We need the CC2340 BLE MCU in standby mode , it is mentioned in data sheet with DCDC on the standby mode current will be 0.71 uA  and with GLDO enabled the standby mode current will be 1.1 uA.

But we are seeing with basic ble application  provided  in "simplelink_lowpower_f3_sdk_7_40_00_64" . in our evaluation board itself takes 0.1mA = 100 uA.

Further in the sysconfig setting , it is been observed that DCDC setting is enabled  and power policy selected as standby policy. This put us to impression that CC2340 will go to standby mode  when it is not advertising, it is not the case as i  mentioned above it is taking around 100 uA when it is not advertising.  What is that we need to do to put the MCU in standby mode ?

Regards

Ilan
