CC2650: Cannot find or make the BLE project zero work on the CC2650 Launchpad

I cannot find a specific project zero or any BLE project for the CC2650 launch pad

I tried downloading and changing the CC2640 version but ccs downloads the code and then the system seems to be stuck. I tried changing procesor type and even trying to use the 7.x SDK or other SDKs and they either dont compile (cant find the path to pieces or they dont run after compiling

And honestly after messing up my setup and wanting to go back to running on my cc2640 launchpad .. I find it painful to find the 2640 project zero again.. .. Not even sure how I got that to work

John you may have started with a newer device like CC2640R2F which includes the project_zero example as part of its sdk: https://www.ti.com/tool/SIMPLELINK-CC2640R2-SDK and also on the TI Resource Explorer.

The CC2650 (or CC2650R1) is an older device and the project zero example source is not provided with the BLE SDK 2.x for that device. Unfortunately I don't see the project zero files for this project on resource explorer anymore either.

John I installed the BLE SDK v2.2.7 for CC2560 SDK from here and I see the BLE simple peripheral example at the following path: C:\ti\simplelink\ble_sdk_2_02_07_06\examples\cc2650lp\simple_peripheral

Can you use that as a starting point instead of project zero?
