CC2564CSTBTBLESW: BQB testing fail issue on the Bluetopia stack.

Hi TI,

We are taking the device for BQB testing.

We are observing failures on many test cases, of which we don't have direct control.

Background of our Application.

*Bluetooth device that connects with the phone over HFP, A2DP, PBAP Profiles & BLE.

* We support accept call, reject call, end call, Voice assistant invoking, Music play, pause, Next & Previous.

* Our application is developed on top of AUDAPI, and HFRE API  for Audio. 

Issues facing

* The device is not rejecting the incoming AVDTP(GAVD) connection with unsupported frequency, codecs etc.

* Test cases failing are, A2DP/SNK/AVP/BI-03-C, A2DP/SNK/AVP/BI-08-C, etc(All comes under A2DP/SNK/AVP is failing).

* we are not able to get access to the GAVD layer to make the modifications to reject the connection.

Please help us to resolve the issue as soon as possible, the production is delayed due to this.

    Is this for BT sig certification? If so bluetopia has already passed profile qualification and the features we suppport can be found here.

    Hi ,

    The testing agency for BQB mandates, they meed to run the profile tests separately.  

    We manged to  most of tests . We are facing failures on some cases.  

    The device is not rejecting the connection with wrong parameters on a2dp., lime different mtu, bit pool etc.

    You can consider that it is mandate to test BQB test from our side if that is the case., what solution we can have?

    Hello Vishnu,

    Ill see what I can do to help here, but I dont promise much as bluetopia has already passed certification. Could you specify what portions of the ICS the profile is failing. (Ex. A2DP table 4 item 1)

    I can then try to test from my end.

    Hi @RogelioD,

    We are facing multiple issues, The majority of multiple test cases come under the  A2DP/SNK/AVP/ section.

    Are you referring to the A2DP_ICS document for Table numbers and items? 

    I am attaching the screen capture of the PTS suite here.

    From the setup we use for ICS testing, I am not directly able to list the test cases as you say by table and row directly, test cases are the combination of what is listed in the table as I understand.

    you can see the description of the failures written on the screen.

    All tests that come under the AVP section are failing. The reason is the device is not responding to SRC with unsupported type/format etc.

    I would suggest you to refer the following document for the details of the failure.

    Bluetooth SIG A2DP_TS (A2DP Testcases).

    This document is in sync with the ICS failure ID.
