CC2340R5: Connection Monitor reports RSSI abnormaly

Part Number: CC2340R5

Hi, Ti

I'm having some problems debugging Connection Monitor.

1. I am currently using the cc2340 to monitor a bluetooth connection from a non-TI device to my phone and trying to get the RSSI, but the values read are all 0x7F. Before that,I was using a cc2340 to monitor the bluetooth connection between the cc2652 and my phone and managed to get the correct RSSI.

Is this a limitation that exists that prevents the cc2340 from monitoring another device's bluetooth connection to the phone and getting RSSI?If this exists, how do I get around it?

2.I also tried holding down the reset button on the cc2340 and then releasing it before the non-TI device connected to the phone sends the connection parameters, at which point I can see the correct RSSI value in the output message from the CC2340 serial port, which seems to be related to the time-dependent parameters.

Can you help me clarify this situation? Could it be caused by a parameter mismatch?

The following figure shows the output from the serial port:
