CC2652R7: Sensor Controller Low Power Mode

Hello,

I have a question about the Sensor Controller's power consumption, so I don't use the Senor Controller in my application does it default to Low Power Mode and if it is in Low Power Mode is there a way to completely turn it off?

Hello Kenneth,

Are you using or enabling the Sensor Controller at all through your main CPU application? If not then the Sensor Controller CPU will not be operating or affect the power consumption of your CC2652R7 device at all.

If you have enabled it but want to turn it back off, use the scifUninit function in your main CPU application. SC default power mode is dependent on Sensor Controller settings, not the main core, and can be changed by using pwrRequestAndWaitForActiveMode and/or pwrRequestAndWaitForLowPowerMode within SC code.
