CC2340R5: Drive LED from CC2340R5 High-Drive Pins

High-drives pins have a max current of 10mA and standard drive is 2mA. Unfortunately, battery monitor current consumption is not available, but if you are interested see this thread: e2e.ti.com/.../cc2340r5-about-the-power-consumption-of-the-battery-monitor-function

As for the LED, consider using other colors with a lower Vfd or use a FET to drive the blue LED because driving the blue LED with a GPIO pin is might not be reliable depending on your current draw. You can also consider resistor to limit current and guarantee the voltage will stay above 3.1V.

Hi Bun, I need 4ma for the LED (must be blue (3.1VFD) as it is a Bluetooth remote).

It also says I/O can be as high as 3.8V so 3.3V-3.8V (set with R1) on high drive pins should be OK, right?

To save a part, I could use high-drive pin with pull-up, I Could get as much as 10ma as confirmed above on high-drive pins.

IF NOT: I could use a low power SN74AUP2G34DSFR, but want to avoid quiescent current of this part if not needed. - Patrick

I see in 8.19.4 GPIO that the high drive pins are min 2.466V @ 10ma.

But if I use open drain config at 3V3, the pin with 40 Ohm for Blue (Vfd 3.1V) should allow 4ma when open drain is high.
