Hi,

My customer develops a BLE remote control.

The customer asks if voice search is possible using an analog microphone on CC2340.

Only digital microphones were available in the CC2650 design.

Is it possible to use analog microphones on CC2340 without using additional ADCs?

And IR generation is implemented in S/W.

Do you have any plans to add H/W blocks?

    Hello Cho,

    Thanks for reaching out. It is possible to use an analog microphone on the CC2340R5 however using the ADC and DMA if required (no especial peripheral for analog audio at the moment). IR generation is implemented using the UART (and setting the Coding/Decoding Scheme). See this inside the SysConfig file -> UART2 --> Coding/Decoding Scheme.
