CC2340R2: HCI_ResetCmd() causes ICall_abort() trap

After loading all HCI files into the project, my customer is getting errors after a call to HCI_ResetCmd() and the subsequent ICall_abort() trap. The return value for the call to iCall_waitMatch() is a timeout. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?
