CC2340R2: Re-build ble5stack

Is is possible to re-build ble5stack in simplelink_lowpower_f3_sdk_8_10_01_02 SDK. My customer is looking at the possibility to rebuild one file in the library with "debug" option. They see a need for single stepping in CCS.

hi Ivan, they are trying to step into GATTServApp_ProcessCCCWriteReq..

SDK: simplelink_lowpower_f3_sdk_7_40_00_64

Hi Frangline,

If the file is not included in the precompiled files then it is possible. You can check on the SDK source folder then if the file is included then yes but proceed with caution as it might give some unwanted behavior. Make sure you have backed up the files.

hi Ivan, the file is included in the pre-compiled lib. But customer wants to re-compile the lib in debug profile. Is it possible? As there is no project available in the SDK to rebuild the blestack.

Hi Frangline,

Short answer - it is not possible to rebuild the stack unless we provide the source code of the stack.

If the goal is to step into a file, then we could consider only providing the specific file required.

In all the cases, access to source code or single files, cannot be discussed on a public forum. Please reach out offline to get this case handled.
