Part Number: CC2340R5-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

When tested at an ambient temperature of 125 degrees, the CC2340 will fail. The crystal oscillator complies with automotive specifications, Have Any suggestions?

  • Hi Kevin,

When you say the device fails, can you please be more specific about what fails?

  • Hi Evan,

Customer put CC2340(in detect mode) into oven, which is in 125C, the CC2340 fail and entered into OTP mode; The TXC crystal tested with CC2340 also meets automotive grade.

  • Hello Kevin,

When you say detect mode, do you mean receive mode? Can you explain what detect mode is and how you put the device in this mode?

Also what is OTP mode? How is this a failure for the device?

Lastly, after the CC2340 is placed in the oven and fails, does the device recover and operate as expected when taken out of the oven and placed at room temperature?

Providing information to the questions above will help us provide you with some suggestions as to what might be the issue. Thanks.
