CC2340R5-Q1: Reset when power-on

Hi Team,

My customer is using CC2340R5-Q1 to perform production test.

They found when power-on the CC2340R5-Q1 w/o control Reset pin, the FW can not run normally.

This behavior is also reproduced at EVM.

Please help to check if CC2340R5-Q1 need to control Reset pin before power-on.

Hi Nima,

The WMCU_RESET keeps unconnected and just like EVM, nRST is pull-up w/ 100K ohm resistor.

Hello,

To make sure I'm understanding,

The reset pin is connected, but not being set high by the host MCU, and this is causing the issue?

What could be happening is that the reset pin is grounded, so a reset is occurring. What is the state of the pin when the device is powered on?

Hi Nima,

Sorry for late reply.
We found the behavior when the reset pin(WMCU_RESET) is un-connected, and nRST is pull high by the pull-up resistor(R1).

During normal operation, what is WMCU_RESET usually connected to?
