LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: SNVS skip in backdoor bootloader mode

Tool/software:

Hi team,

In backdoor bootloader mode currently flashing whole flash region(352KB)

but as per requirement need to retain SNVS region 

start address: 0x48000, size:16KB

Need to flash configuration as well(last 88bytes)

How to skip SNVS and flash?

    Hi Kousalya,

    You will need to use COMMAND_SECTOR_ERASE bootloader commands instead of COMMAND_BANK_ERASE.  From there, the correct usage of COMMAND_DOWNLOAD and COMMAND_SEND_DATA commands are necessary to avoid the SNVS area.  You are essentially leaving flash pages 36 and 37 untouched.  Since there are no holes in a binary file, you will either use a hex image or two separate binary images (one for the application, another for the CCFG) to accomplish this task.  Please see Chapter 10 of the TRM as well as SWRA466.
