CC2541: Can CC2541 support one slaver multi master BLE?Thanks.

My customer wants to develop a smart door lock with BLE. The CC2541 BLE slave on the door lock can be connected to multiple BLE master, such as multiple smartphones. When one people use smartphone to connect CC2541 for control door,other people also can connect CC2541 to control door. smartphone is master BLE and CC2541 is slaver. So it is one slaver multi master BLE application.May I ask if TI has such a one slaver, multi master reference solution?

Hello Jon,

The device cc2541 SDK supports BLE 4.2 and 5. Therefore I what you describe should be possible, however the max number of connections will be constraint to the RAM size (8kB). May I ask if you have considered using our latest chips such as the cc2340R5 or cc2340R2 based on your requirements?

This is a MP project, and end customer let my customer add one slaver multi master, so cutomer can't change to CC2340R5 in this project.

I can find one master multi slaver example but can't find one slaver multi master. Could you pls advise how to achieve one slaver multi master function?Thanks.

Hello Jon,

I am reviewing the SDK that supports this device to evaluate what you are requiring at an example level and see if we can enable this. May I ask what is a MP project? "mass prd"?
