CC2340R5: Cause of the ICall_Errno ICall_abort(void) error?

Hi ,

After testing with the LP-EM-CC2340R5 EVK to a certain stage, I applied for the CC2340R52E0RGER sample and designed it into a circuit board. When I loaded the example code basic_ble_LP_EM_CC2340R5_freertos_ticlang onto the new circuit board, I encountered an ICall_Errno ICall_abort(void) error. I am unsure whether this is related to the external flash MX25R8035FZUIL0 or the external EEPROM CAT24C08TDI, as I did not include these components (Flash/EEPROM) on the circuit.

Hello Anthony,

The basic_ble project uses the internal flash (internal NVS) so I would not think that could be related. Are you designing your board based on a TI reference? Have you had it review by TI?

Could you please try another example from the drivers folder for instance to narrow than the issue?

Understood, I did not have TI review my circuit. Where can I have TI review my circuit? I have tried using the UART example code, and it works fine.

Hi Anthony,

Just taking a quick look at what is posted above, you have no 48MHz crystal. 48MHz crystal is required for radio operation (but should always be included in system anyways).
