CC2651R3: Error during code upload in CC2651R3 custom PCB

Part Number: CC2651R3
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2651P3

Tool/software:

Dear Texas Instruments Support Team,

CCS Version - 12.7

SDK Versionsimplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_7_41_00_17

Compiler Version - 3.2.0 LTS

I am using Project_Zero as a base code with CC2651R3 microcontroller with our custom PCB board. When I try to upload the code to the device using Code Composer Studio, I am encountering the following error (Kindly refer the attached screenshot as well):

IcePick_C: Error connecting to the target: (Error -242 @ 0x0) A router subpath could not be accessed. The board configuration file is probably incorrect. (Emulation package 9.13.0.00201)

Note:

  1. I have ported the CC2651P3_Project_Zero example code for the CC2651R3 microcontroller as per the instructions in the migration guide CC13x2x1 or CC26x2x1 to CC13x1x3 or CC26x1x3 Software Migration also discussed in previous thread CC2651R3 Previous E2E Thread

Could you kindly provide assistance in resolving this error? Specifically:

  1. Are there any board configuration file adjustments required for the new lot of CC2651R3 MCUs?
  2. Are there any specific troubleshooting steps to address this error in Code Composer Studio?

I would appreciate your guidance on this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Rajnish Singh
