Hi,

How to check heap size usage? I need to fix size of heap.

Now it setting heap size is Dynamic.

I try to set HEAPMGR_CONFIG in ('ble_stack_heap.cfg) is fixe size but heap start it start from last static ram. (Dynaimic memory not change to fix size)

and heap size config it use ram static.

software project Simple serial socket Server

SDK: 3.30.00.20

Hi,

After check heap size. If i confix size of heap less than 9Kbytes, then affect to bluetooth communication.

Actually If need increase data variable in ram. necessary to increase size of ram for not affect heap size.

I understand right?

Hi,

The total RAM size available is defined by the chipset selected.

In order to extend the RAM size available to your program you can consider repurposing the AUXRAM and the Cache as RAM:

I should config size ram of heap size or auto - size heap?

Setting a fix size for the heap does NOT lead to a larger heap (it actually leads to the same heap size in the best case). For this reason, I recommend to leave the heap size settings untouched.

Based on your question, it rather sounds like you are suffering from a RAM shortage (i.e. you have not enough RAM left on your system to get the heap size required by your system). You then have two ways to address the issue - I guess both should applied:

Way #1: Reduce the statically allocated memory. Make especially sure to assess the stack size of each task.
Way #2: Increase the available RAM size by referencing the folowing
