Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2651R3SIPA
Tool/software:
Developed my own application on the SimpleLink CC2651R3SIPA Launch Pad. After completing the project, and running successfully with CCS I tried to just power down, disconnect the CCS system and power with 5 vdc only(without CCS) and see how it ran. No Luck, After trying many things, I purchased another Launch Pad boards and loaded my program with CCS and try again, by powering down, disconnecting CCS and repowering with only 5VDC and this launch pad works.
Now 3 months later I go back to this launch pad and it still runs my application under just 5 vdc, without CCS. I then power up this launch pad with CCS and make many more changes/improvements and it runs great with CCS. I power down, disconnected CCS and power the launch pad with only 5 VDC without CCS and it will not run the program. I can back to CCS with this launch pad and my program/application still works.
The application is basically, I2C for 3 sensors, a couple switch inputs, Bluetooth broadcast and led outputs. What can I check? Is there a sequence to power down from CCS? How do I check if it a Boot Image Manager problem?
Thanks,
Jim
