After I enabled the pairing and bonding functions, I have received the BLEAPPUTIL_PAIRING_STATE_BOND_SAVED event after the first connection. However, I only received the BLEAPPUTIL_PAIRING_STATE_ENCRYPTED event during the second connection, but not the GAPBOND_PAIRING_STATE_BONDED event. Then I check the code and find that GAPBOND_PAIRING_STATE_BONDED is not defined in the code. Do I need to add this by myself? If so, how do I add it?

Hi Preston,

This is expected. You will only receive the BOND_SAVED event on the first connection. After that, you will only receive the PAIRING_STATE_ENCRYPTED event.

So can I use PAIRING_STATE_ENCRYPTED as a sign to connect again after the bonding is successful? (I mean the equivalent of GAPBOND_PAIRING_STATE_BONDED)

Yes, you can also check if the bond record exists. If so then bonding was successful.
