CC2640R2F: SDKv5.30. No on chip OAD example program?

Hi,

I just re-installed SDKv5.30 and there is no on chip OAD example program at the blestack folder. Any reason for that? My previous installation of SDKv5.30 it has on chip OAD example program. I try to build it and there is an error that it does not fit in the available flash space. Is this the reason?

    Hi kel,

    It sounds like there might be a confusion here: 

    - In the simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_5_30_00_03, you'll find the simple_peripheral_oad_onchip for the BLEstack

    - In the simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_5_30_00_03, there is no onchip OAD example for the BLE5Stack - the flash space available on this device is the reason 

    In general, if you are looking at starting a new project, I would recommend looking at the CC2340R device family.

    Hi Clement,

    I just downloaded and did a fresh install of CC2640R2F SDKv5.30 and there is no on chip OAD example program in the blestack folder. See, below. I am working on a client project that uses CC2640R2F. I downgraded to SDKv4.10 to use on chip OAD example program. I will try the lower version of SDKv5.30. I will mark this post as resolved.
