Tool/software:
Dear Texas Instruments Support Team,
I am reaching out to request assistance regarding an issue I am encountering with the Runtime Object View (ROV) tool in Code Composer Studio (CCS). Unable to access the ROV tool, which I rely on extensively for debugging purposes, particularly for analyzing real-time data and understanding system behavior during development.
When attempting to use the ROV tool, I encounter ROV _connect failed to start agent: Provided value for cloudAgentInstallerServerURL is not allowed(kindly refer the attached screenshot)
I would greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide on troubleshooting steps, potential configuration adjustments, or updates required to restore functionality to the ROV tool. Additionally, if there are any recommended settings for improved compatibility with this SDK version or hardware platform, that information would be very helpful.
Thank you for your assistance in addressing this issue. I look forward to your suggestions on how to proceed.
Best regards,
Rajnish Singh
Hi Rajnish,
I am not observing any issues using the same SDK and Compiler in CCS 12.7, and it was a recommended fix for a previous relevant E2E thread. Can you please determine whether upgrading to CCS 12.7 resolves your ROV behavior as well? If not, please provide the name of a default TI example from the F2 SDK which can be used to recreate the problem.
Regards,
Ryan
