CC2340R5: OAD with SimpleLink APPs

Hi,

I used to test OAD on CC2340R5 with SimpleLink Connect APP.

But I just found that I cannot find it on Android APP store anymore (but still exists on iOS APP store), may I ask why?

And, there is another APP called SimpleLink Starter.

I try to test it for OAD, but the APP keep crash after entering "TI OAD service".

Can anyone confirm that this APP can be used for OAD function test? Or it only can be used on specified TI products?

    Hello Tim,

    Thanks for reaching out. We are working on the app not showing in the android store, it should be back soon. The SimpleLink Connect is the one that should be used as this one is the one we are still updating with the latest OAD distributor SW.

    I will get back to you soon if I get more information about when the app will be back.

    In the meantime, you could also use BTool to perform OAD. I would suggest to take a look at the training material here: Bluetooth Low Energy - Over the Air Download (OAD) Fundamentals.
