LP-EM-CC2745R10-Q1: BLE example gets stuck in RSA Generation

I was working with CC2745R10_Q1 board. i was trying to get oob pairing to work then after a while the device stopped booting properly. and it gets stuck trying to generate RSA Key as shown in the call stack below

i suspect the HSM did something to block the normal execution of the program. if i try to run another non-ble example. it works.

have u seen this behavior before? and can it be fixed?
how to factory reset the board (all cores including HSM)

Hello,

Please update your SDK to the latest (8.40.00.xx), and retest. The SDK you're running is known to have issues, and was before the device was released.

Please let me know the results.

I have updated the sdk but that didn't solve the problem.
on the other hand i suspected that HSM might have interfered with Encryption and firmware download.
after some research i found this guide: Programming the Hardware Security Module (HSM) — SimpleLink Low Power F3 SDK BLE5-Stack User's Guide 3.03.04.00 documentation
doing the steps of flashing the HSM with the default image found in the sdk solved the issue.
