CC2340R5: The CC2340R5 cannot be woken up to receive data.

Part Number: CC2340R5

Tool/software:

Hi Ti team,

I use CC2340R5 and SDK simplelink_lowpower_f3_sdk_8_20_00_119. We have a TPMS project using 2 MCUs. One uses the TI CC2340R5. The CC2340R5 works as a SPI slave. Now we encounter a strange issue, if the battery voltage is between 2.38V and 2.46V, the CC2340R5 cannot be woken up to receive data, and it consumes 3mA more. If the battery voltage is above 2.47V or below 2.37V, CC2340R5 works fine (it can be woken up and receive data).
Does anyone know why?

Best wishes

Ted Wu

  • Ted,

    1. Can you provide the full part number of the device you're using?

    2. Also, is this issue occuring on multiple boards or is this only happening on this one specific board?

    3. If you replace the CC2340R5 device that is not waking up, does the issue go away?

Please provide this information so we can try to further assist in determining the problem.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

  • Hi Andrew,

The cause of this issue has been found. The issue occurs on another MCU. Please ignore this post. Thank you so much.

    Best regards
