WL18XX-BT-SP: WL1831MOD: Fuzzying test failing

Hi,

We are using WT-1831MOD in one of our products. We are using the linux environment with 4.2 stack.

We tested the device for bluetooth classic fuzzying test.

It caused the stack abnormal behavior and the device was rebooted.

Is this observation previously noted ? If yes, is fix for this issue known?

Hi Aniket,

What was the fuzzying test? Can you provide logs or demo the issue? Are you using BlueZ or Bluetopia stack? Are you using the latest BT-SP?

Hi Saheeb,

We are using the Bluetopia stack.

Not sure of the BT-SP version. How do we identify the BT-SP version that is currently used ?

I have sent the test report through our sales contact.

Hi Aniket,

The latest BT-SP can be found here, please ensure it is installed on your system in /lib/firmware/ti-connectivity/

Hi Saheeb,

We are trying to avoid upgrade and continue with current service pack.

I tried looking for the location: /lib/firmware/ti-connectivity/ . I found two similar paths (shown in attached image).

Both the location had the identical file wl18xx-conf.bin. How do I identify the version here?
