CC2642R: Urgent: Code Compilation Issue and Flash Memory Crash in TI MCU

Part Number: CC2642R
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Tool/software:

Dear TI Support Team,

We are facing an issue with code compilation. When we compile the same code on two different laptops, the generated .bin file behaves differently.

  1. We are using the same SDK version and Code Composer Studio version on both systems. However, the bin file generated from one laptop works correctly, while the other fails to transfer in the Simple Link Starter mobile application during firmware upload.
  2. We are experiencing crashes related to flash memory. The issue seems to occur when writing to flash or during execution from flash memory. We suspect potential problems related to flash sector erasing, interrupts during flash writes, or ECC errors. Any guidance on best practices for handling flash writes and preventing execution-related crashes would be greatly appreciated.

Please find the attached screenshot showing the "bin file transfer failed" error.

Please find the details of versions we are using

SDK Version : simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_5_20_00_52

System configurator version : sysconfig_1.8.2

Code composer studio version : 11.1.0.00011

SimpleLink Starter : V5.1.4.0(Build 100)

We would appreciate your support in resolving this issue as soon as possible.

Regards,
Triveni H M
