Hi Dennis,
Here is a XDS110 Debug Probe Guide in case you didn't already have it. What XDS110 hardware are you using (LP-XDS110, TMDSEMU110-U, a separate LaunchPad, etc)? What is meant by AUXFUNCTION in this context? The CC2340R5 needs a common GND with the XDS110 and a 3.3V power supplied either by the XDS110 or externally. The length and quality of SWDIO/SWDCK connection is also important for stable communication. Are you able to perform any operations using Uniflash (write, erase, etc)?
Regards,
Ryan
Hi Ryan
I've used XDS110 Debug Probe with Uniflash
Two Ports
AUX. FUNCTIONS - connect TGTSUPPLYOUT and GND
DEBUG - connect Pin1(TMS), Pin11(TCK) and Pin15(nRESET) in SWD Mode
Best Regards
Dennis
Is your target on custom hardware, and have you tried to connect your XDS110 Debug Probe to a LP-EM-CC2340R5 as a simple verification test with verfied hardware? Have you submitted your board design to SIMPLELINK-2-4GHZ-DESIGN-REVIEWS for further review? Can you provide an image of your connection setup? Are you able to monitor the VDDS and SWDIO/SWDCK pins on the CC2340R5 to ensure that the voltage levels are correct and actuated when Uniflash attempts to connect?
Regards,
Ryan
