Tool/software:
1. We have a PCBA which is enclosed in a plastic case and that is enclosed with a metal casing. The PCBA doesn't have any contact with the metal casing, and the metal casing is installed on a e-bike. Is it really necessary to connect the PCBA to the metal casing for ESD purposes.
2. There is a USB-C connector as well which is exposed outside the metal casing, the shield is connected to a capacitor and then to board ground, Is this ok?
