LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: Sniffer Agent, Device not detected

"I get the error 'Wireshark not found' when installing Packet Sniffer 2, even though I already have Wireshark 4.4.7 installed on my PC. I flashed the firmware located at:

onto my CC26X2R1 LaunchPad, but the device is not being detected."

Installed "Wireshark_(64bit)_v3.0.0.exe" but still facing same issue

Hi !

What's the installation path for your wireshark ? It needs to be the default path. In case it's installed in the default path, you can install the plugins manually.

You can find the plugins in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2\wireshark\plugins folder by default. You can select your version of wireshark and follow this guide to install them.

Installation Location is C:\Program Files\Wireshark, pasted the plugin folder manually, still issue persists

Sorry I don't understand what's your issue . If you installed the plugins manually then the issue in your screenshot should be fixed right ?

Hi !

The User Guide for the Packet Sniffer 2 software mentions that the version of wireshark used is important, and Packet Sniffer 2's product page mentions that version 3.X of Wireshark should be used. Could you try uninstalling your current version of wireshark and installing the correct version ?
