Hi Engineers,

my customer is developing a PEPS system with TI CC2745 + 2 antenna set. customer found the RF switch chip has a consistent several uA current. we are wondering if we have a recommend solution for them. such as to enable RF switch chip via CC2745 when needed. please let me know if you have any insights

Hi Issac,

No problem, customer is wondering is there a strategy to open RF switch chip wisely to save more power. not just chip choosing.

Simon,

You may be able to use a CC device GPIO to control a FET or switch to enable/disable power to the RF switch as needed. Please keep in mind that we have not tested a circuit like this for a PEPS system and you would have to test and verify this will provide the power savings and full system functionality you require.
