CC2745R10-Q1: Not able to program using on-board XDS110 in LP-EM-CC2745R10-A

Part Number: CC2745R10-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Tool/software:

I was debugging some firmware and after flashing that firmware, I'm not able to connect to the target again. When I connect to target again in project-less debug mode, it shows following error message:

Then, I tried erasing the flash using "Scripts -> CC23XX -> ChipErase", and that gives 0 error code but then if I try to connect to the target it shows same error message.

I also tried loading the binary without connecting to the target by "Run -> Load -> Load Program" but that gives following error:

I have tried this experiment two boards but I am getting the same error message in all the cases.

  • Hello,

What was the firmware loaded? What was the SDK? What version of CCS are you using?

  • Hi,

I've attached the firmware(binary) which was compiled using F3-SDK v8.40.2 and I had flashed the firmware using loadti tool from CCS20.1.1 but I tried ChipErase in CCS20.1.1 and CCS17.1, but I'm getting the same error in both the versions.

  • Hello,

Based on the errors I'm seeing, it appears that there may have been a misconfigured SCFG that restricted debug access.

Do you mind trying to chip erase via CCS 20.2.0?

Additionally, how are you setting the SCFG/CCFG? Are you using Sysconfig or have you removed it? Additionally, please move to the latest SDK.

    Best,

    Nima Behmanesh
