Tool/software:

I have created a project named "rfPacketTx_LP_CC1352P7_1_tirtos7_ticlang" and configured parameters such as FSK modulation, whitenMode, and center frequency. Now I want to perform 6x oversampling after FSK modulation. How should I configure this?

I'm checking internally if we have other methods to achieve this and will reply once I have received a response.

Hi,

After checking internally: in TX, 16x oversampling is always used. Using bit repitition oversampling can be increased to 32x: CC1312R: The data rate v.s. rx bandwidth on CC1312R

This document is target to CC13x0, the corresponding registers has not found in "CC13x2, CC26x2 SimpleLink Wireless
MCU Technical Reference Manual".

Are there any similar documents for CC1352P7？

From TER's reply in the linked thread:

For CC13x2 bit repetition doesn’t require a separate patch. To turn the bit repition on, set .formatConf.fecMode =
0x2 under CMD_PROP_RADIO_DIV_SETUP. The repition factor is set through the following override:
HW_REG_OVERRIDE(0x5324,0x000X)
Where x is the wanted factor.

So, for 13x2 devices it requires using an inbuilt ROM patch and is set using a HW override - the registers for this are not detailed publicly beyond information given in the App Note/E2E forum.

If we set the .formatConf.fecMode to Uncoded binary modulation(0x0000) and turn on the bit repetition, what is the value of fecMode?

Hi Huang,

.formatConf.fecMode needs to be set to 0x02 to turn bit repetition on, otherwise it will not work.

When fecMode is 0x02, how is FEC? Uncoded binary modulation or convolutional code？

And the value is DSSS？

fecMode is 0x02, HW_REG_OVERRIDE(0x5324,0x0008), it does not work.

fecMode is 0x00, and HW_REG_OVERRIDE(0x5324,0x0008), it woks, but is the bit repetition 8X?
