    1. The antenna pin of the IC has an input impedance of 50ohms. So the entire RF circuit it designed for system impedance of 50ohms. I don't understand your question about powering up the IC in a specific state. The input impedance of the ANT pin is always 50ohms no matter what state the device is in.

    2. CA2 in the reference design schematic you attached is a DC blocking cap and ensures there is no DC path from the ANT pin of the IC to GND through the PCB antenna. This keeps the IC and antenna DC isolated. 

    3. I'm not sure what you're asking with this question, but the entire RF circuit is impedance matched to 50ohms.
