EZ430-RF2560 temperature sensor

Hello,

I'd like to use EZ430-RF2560 to send information from its temperature sensor to a phone via Bluetooth.

I'm quite unfamiliar with this technologies, so I'm wondering is it possible to modify existing acclerometer application to perform such task and how do I acquire information from temperature sensor?

Hi,

the SDK for MSP430F5438 Experimenter Boards inherits an demo temp_appl source code. Maybe u can take it and compile it for ez430-rf2560.
I tried it one time, but it didnt work. I didnt spend much time for trying to getting it started.

Maybe u can find a way.

Thank you for advice. I have seen several similar attempts mentioned but none had been successful. Not my first option, but maybe will look into it.

Josip,

You can read the temp value from the MSP430 or you can use the external temp sensor on the RF256xT board. There is a HAL provided in the EZ430 to do so. You just need to replace the accelerometer readings by the temp values.
