SIMPLELINK-CC13X2-26X2-SDK: SDK Bluetooth Qualification

Part Number: SIMPLELINK-CC13X2-26X2-SDK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1352R

Tool/software:

Hi,

I am currently reviewing the Bluetooth Core 5.2 qualification tests for CC1352R in the bluetooth qualification workspace.

https://qualification.bluetooth.com/ListingDetails/115186

qualification.bluetooth.com/.../156080

I am not too familiar with the topic of bluetooth qualification in detail, but I hoped to be able to reference some of the tests done for QDID 156080 for other product compliance tests.

What I see from the BT qualification workspace is, that the BLE stack does not support LMP. Or at least, there are no tests referenced.

Did I get this right? Or is there anything, that I overlooked?

Maybe the LMP tests (which from my understanding is mandatory (as well as a whole lot of other layers, that are not stated as supported)) was done for another stack version and not conducted again, because no change was expected? If so, where do I find the associated tests / ICS?

Is there any documentation of the BT qualification other than in the bluetooth qualification workspace?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Kind regards

Gabriel

  • Hi Gabriel,

Thank you for reaching out. I would like to share the "How to Certify Your Bluetooth Product" app note which guides readers through how to go through the certification process as well as general guidelines to keep in mind for each generation of device. Here you can also see the QDIDs that should be referenced for a particular device as well as what is included in each QDID. I think this should be a useful reference for you during your certification process. I also highly recommend consulting with your Bluetooth Qualification Consultant (BQC) through this process.

    Best Regards,

    Jan
