CC2340R5-Q1: sbl using problem

Hi engineers,

my customer is seeing 2 questions in CC2340 SBL

1. empty chip cannot use SBL in ROM, 100% reproduce

2. with MCUboot, is it possible for customer to update CCFG in OAD?

Are they invoking the SBL using the pinTrigger?

How are they sending commands to the SBL?

Does it work on a chip that isn't blank?

The CCFG should not be erased during an update as this could potentially brick the device. Under no circumstances should the CCFG be updated via OAD.

3. yes it work on a non-blank chip.

with answer 3 I assume 2 is not important. can you try to reproduce it from your side?

I have used SBL on the CC2340R5-Q1 devices and I can confirm that it works.

Question 2 is in fact important. Please ask them. Are they changing the pins for SBL in their CCFG?

I tried blank chip on my EVM as well and also no such issue. I'll look into customer's environment first. thanks
