What is the target impedance for CC2340R52E0RGE on LP-EM-CC2340R5-RGE evaluation board at pin 1 ?

How much is influenced by a 2-layer or 4 layer stack up or number vias in the center pad?

    Hi Thomas,

    1. The target impedance is 50 ohms at the pin.

    2. Technically, the number layers does not matter as it is the substrate (Between layer 1 and layer 2) thickness and dialectic constant that will have the most impact on impedance, which means thickness = 0.73mm and Er = 4.5.

    3. The number vias will only affect impedance if there are no vias. If you follow the recommend footprint in the datasheet, then there should be no problem.
