Tool/software:
Hello,
We are required by our customers to use an OSS detection tool and report the OSS used in our software without error, in order to comply with OSS licenses.
Using BlackDuck Detect, an OSS detection tool, we found the following snippet matches in TI SDK source code and another OSS source code.
We think the following OSS source code is unrelated to the TI SDK source code, so we intend to comply only with the TI SDK licenses, is that OK?
1. Snippet matches with files provided by Luminary Micro
TI SDK source code
component : CoreSDK
filepass : simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_6_30_01_03/source/ti/devices/cc13x2_cc26x2/driverlib/debug.h
Detected OSS source code
component : FreeRTOS Real Time Kernel V4.0.0 (https://sourceforge.net/projects/freertos/files/FreeRTOS/V4.0.0/)
filepass : FreeRTOS/Demo/CORTEX_LM3S102_GCC/hw_include/debug.h
2. Snippet matches with Phyplus Technologies' SDK
The following is an example, and there are snippet matches in several other files.
TI SDK source code
component : BLE5
filepass : simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_6_30_01_03/source/ti/ble5stack/controller/cc26xx/inc/ll.h
Detected OSS source code :
component : PHY62XX_SDK_3.1.1 (https://github.com/SoCXin/PHY6222/tree/master/src/PHY62XX_SDK_3.1.1)
filepass : https://github.com/SoCXin/PHY6222/blob/master/src/PHY62XX_SDK_3.1.1/components/ble/controller/ll.h
We use the following versions of the SDK and refer to the following manifests.
SDK version : simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_6_30_01_03
Manifest : https://software-dl.ti.com/simplelink/esd/simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk/6.30.01.03/exports/manifest_simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_6_30_01_03.html
Best regards,
Masami
