Hi Experts,

Greetings!

We have designed our BLE module using the CC2340R53N0RKPR (64KB variant) chipset and recently received the samples. In our design, we have selected the following default bootloader UART pins:

  • TXD: DIO20_A11

  • RXD: DIO22_A9

Could you please confirm if the selected I/Os are correct? Client wants serial bootloader functionality for firmware update process - for blank IC's & for Already flashed IC's (*With valid CCFG).

    Hi Harinder,

    Chapter 8 of the TRM mentions which pins may be used for the ROM SBL TX/RX pins. The following section is the relevant portion:

    The serialIoCfgIndex value is set as follows:

    Keep in mind that for QFN-40 packages it will be set to 2 when blank and for other packages it will be set to 0, this may be changed by flashing the device.
