CC2745R10-Q1: Limitation of Handover feature.

Hi all,

I have a question about the limitation of Handover. In the existing SDK document, I don't see pairing mode is one of the limitation of Handover but in my test it does have affect. I don't know it's an limitation or it's an issue need to be resolved.

I did 4 test:

  1. SN to initiate a pairing request, CN to Wait for a pairing request, works good.
  2. SN to Wait for a pairing request, CN to initiate a pairing request, Handover first and disconnect at once.
  3. SN and CN are both Wait for a pairing request, works good.
  4. SN and CN both initiate a pairing request, Handover first and disconnect at once

It seems like CN cannot be set to initiate a pairing request. Could you please check whether it's an limitation or an issue?

    Hello Island, 

    Hope you are doing well. Yes, I believe the SN and CN need to be configured as initiate a pairing request and wait for pairing request respectively. To change the pairing mode, the customer can use GapBondMgr_setParameter, with the parameter GAPBOND_PAIRING_MODE. 

    I am reaching out to the team to see if the pairing mode is a requirement, and if there is any way to change this from SN as initiate pairing, and CN as wait for pairing.
