Keyfob - which version of IAR to use?

Hello,

I have the 2540 Mini development kit with keyfob and would like to download the appropriate IAR evaluation software. Choices are v7.30, v7.51a and v7.60. Can anyone advise me on which version of IAR software works best for the keyfob project?

Hello,

Use 7.6 for 1.1 release. The release notes for the 1.1 release may have some info on this also.

Are 7.x versions available for downloading anymore?

I'm working with 8.1 with no issues.

8.10 should import 1.1 projects ok, and is what we are using to test our next release.

1.1 was tested with 7.6, so that would be our official recommendation.

The latest available for free 30-day evaluation appears to be 7.60 - http://www.iar.com/en/Products/Wireless-solutions/Tools-for-TI-wireless/.

I'm using 8.1. Do what you want ;) If 7.60 is the official one, go for it.
