CC2540 compliance with EN300 440 category 1

Hello all,


I am currently working on a wireless medical application that requires to be category 1 regarding to the EN 300440. I would like to use the CC2540 but it seems that the CC2540 is not category 1, is it?  


Is there any BLE chip that is category 1?  if not, a BR/EDR chip?

    Hello,

    I'm not familiar with the class ratings, but I  do know our chips are going in medical devices, like bloodpressure and glucose monitors. You may want to check with some medical module makers - like Murata or others for more info on this.
