CC2340R5: Sysconfig settings for erase protect flash sector

Hi,

I am confused about how to write protect flash sector 0 to 3(see sysconfig tool below).

1) Which configuration should I choose, "main sectors 0-31" or "erase/retain, main sectors 0-31" ? Can provide an example?

2) Is the datashet snippet (see Table 9-3 below) corresponds to "main sector 0-31" setting in sysconfig?

Its the "erase/retain" section.

The Flash section 7.2.4.1 in CC23xx SimpleLink Wireless MCU (Rev. A), should help in answering some of design questions of the Flash Proection.

The following thread should help answer about how to use flash protection CC2340R5: Flash memory protection by nvs driver - Bluetooth forum - Bluetooth®︎ - TI E2E support forums. But to summarize we use the Erase/Retain to define what to protect, as an example the NVS driver will set a protected flash sector by setting some main sectors under 32-255.
