CC2340R5: Debugging Issue with CC2340R52E0RGER

Part Number: CC2340R5

Dear TI Team,

We are currently facing several challenges related to debugging on our custom hardware designed using the CC2340R52E0RGER IC.

We are able to successfully flash the code onto the device. however, the firmware does not behave as expected. Specifically, the device is supposed to start advertising, but this is not occurring.

Additionally, we are experiencing persistent issues while debugging:

The debugger enters debug mode, but after executing only 2–3 lines of code, it gets disconnected from the IC.

In some cases, the debugger does not even reach main.c and immediately shows a disconnected state.

Occasionally, the cursor does not appear in main.c at all from the start of the debug session.

Due to these symptoms, we suspect a potential hardware-related issue. However, despite our investigation, we have been unable to identify the root cause. We kindly request your support to provide an overview or guidance on possible reasons for this behavior.

We have attached reference images for your review. If required, we are also willing to share the complete schematic for further analysis. Please let us know if there is a preferred email address or any other medium through which we can securely share this information.

As this issue is blocking our development progress, we request your assistance on a high-priority basis and would appreciate a quick resolution.

Best regards,
Shadhu
