CC2755P10: CC2755 and CC3500E External Flash Selection

Hi TI Expert,

Our customer is evaluating CC2755 and CC3500E onto their system and they have some questions regarding External Flash Selection, could you please provide your sight for the following questions?

Could CC2755 use GD25LQ128EWIGR (128Mbit NOR Flash)
Could CC3500E use GD25Q16EEIGR (16Mbit NOR Flash)

You can use it but the CC2755P10 does not support QSPI so the external flash is an overkill but the CC3500E does support QSPI so it is fine.

Hi Bun,

Could you please advise whether it's work if GD25LQ128EWIGR or GD25Q128EWIGR use standard SPI interface to communicate with CC2755?
