Using the CC2540/41 Bluetooth stack with Keil

Hi,

I'd like to use Keil to program my CC2540/41 (I'm using both). Using Keil I can get the 8051 bit of the CC2540 to blink a LED on the USB dongle of the CC2540Mini-DK. I'd like to use the Bluetooth stack as well. Is this possible? I see that the BLE stack is provided as a blob for IAR.

Thank you for stating the obvious Igor :))

Note: IAR is not a favorite IDE, and the demo version does not compile the stack due to size limitation. Therefore, it is not very useful to anyone who wants to evaluate the stack.

The question was: Is it possible to use Keil compiler to compile the BLE stack?

The short answer is: Not without making significant changes to the code.

Hi James,

I was stating the obvious out of frustration, "BLE, ZigBee stacks for IAR only" frustration.

In the means of short time-to-market, it's not advised to code these stacks for Kail, GCC

(name it)
