CC2540 compatibility with FreeRTOS / embOS

Hi.

Can anyone tell me if CC2540 is compatible with either or both of the following operating systems?

1. FreeRTOS (http://www.freertos.org/)
2. embOS (http://www.segger.com/embos.html)

    Hi Bjarni,

    I am not suer what you mean by compatible. The CC2540 can in principle only be used with our BLE Stack. If you are trying to implement somthing yourself have a look at the CC2541.

    In which way does the cc2541 help using an other operating system?

    Up to now my understanding was that the c2541 is a power 'optimized' version of the cc2540 (with some changes to the included peripherals as well) but uses the same software stack as the cc2540?
