CC2541 Keyfob removed?

Hello,

I had previously looked into the mini dev kit which included the CC2541 on the keyfob instead of the CC2540. It seems this product has been removed and I can no longer find it anywhere to purchase. Why has it been removed? Where can I find this product if it is still available elsewhere?

Is the CC2541 Mini Development Kit CC2540DK-MINI available now? I think it's only available for back order so how long will it take to arrive?

Hello Mando,

If you really need to get the kit, I highly recommend you order it from a distributor if you can. I waited over 4 months for mine to arrive after I place the order from the TI estore.

Thanks for the info. The problem is that it's out of stock from every distributor so I'll have to wait for the backorder :(

If you can go with another package that contains the CCDebugger then you should do it. I can't seem to get on the estore again, but if there is a USB module that have the CCDebugger then get it along with the SensorTag.

I already have the CC2540-DKMINI with CCDebugger and everything, just wanted to play with CC2541 new interfaces and the CC2541 Keyfob looks great for it. I guess I'll have to stay with the SensorTag or the CC2541EMK for the moment.
